I agree. Amiga Active 'hits the shelves' on the last Thursday of every
month. I visited WHSmiths in Watford High Street today (Sat Sept 1) and
there were at least ten copies there! I don't subscribe because I simply
don't need to, therefore my copy is never late. It's always there when I
feel like strolling along and picking it up. I've got them all so far and
never had any problems finding one.
